How about a nice meal, then a drive to the scenic countryside and sit on our butts and talk. Make each other laugh; learn as much as we can about each other...brag about our children and grandchildren.
There are good times we have please find something out there are you crazy people. Also it's OK good time to be a good time
Or Dollar day at the race track is so fun! with mimosa too. terrible quality, but fun!!
Bring your visa card, lol. I have a standing record to treat the first date. I noted brunch because getting me up early in the morning just to eat breakfast, that's a stretch. My day usually starts closer to lunch.
Its gotta be in public right? Maybe a cup of coffee, just to see if we both are grooving on each other. Then go from there. Maybe drive to somewhere like a park, walk around. Maybe we just go golfing lol

We can talk and giggle at how we met, what we feel and consider all the possibilities that await us !
A nice dinner together with our best face. I want to learn more about you and your thoughts. Laugh and share some stories. Engage in a conversation and eat delicious food. Have a good date.
My idea of a first date would be at a quiet breakfast Nook so we could get to know one another and see if we were compatible then take it from there. If so who knows we might go out and do something else.
We meet at a local diner or restaurant for brunch while getting to know each other. Then, perhaps afterwards head out to the park (if it's not too hot) or an ice cream shop and talk some more and see if we click.

An ideal first date would be brunch (somewhere where I could get french toast and chicken tenders) and just good conversation. You can learn a lot about a person from the way they order food and the way they eat and the way they treat servers or waitresses. Eating takes away inhibitions and allows both people to be at ease so conversation just flows

First dates come with some pressure, especially if you really like the person so why not lighten the mood by making it during the day like meeting for brunch. Any great brunch place will do, something not too crowded or noisy so that carrying on a conversation is not an issue
My first idea date would be coffee on a river walk. A light meal followed by conversation and a cocktail. The true first date would be up to the lady ideally.
