The best date has conversational flow and a simple connection over a cup of coffee. If it isn't love, perhaps we find a friendship, or at least have had a pleasant few hours. I have always enjoyed dating. I used to meet people in person, but since I work from home, I now date almost exclusively online. That has its benefits and its drawbacks. I'd love to hear your stories
If the weather is nice, let's grab coffee in downtown Lee's Summit and walk around, people watching and getting to know each other. Bonus points if you have a good book you want to talk about or recommend!

Looking more for a dinner date than anything else... IF that works out I would like to develop a relationship further.......................................................................................
Hi, Im 18 and kinda just wanted to keep my profile on the low, my name isnt my actual name but whats your snap or insta and Ill tell you a bit more about me :)
I would like to go somewhere that we can hear each other talk, and have some privacy. A few drinks would be nice. I don't want to feel rushed, but I suppose we should limit the time in case we are not quite compatible.
Grabbing coffee and chatting, going for a walk, seeing some art, wandering around a bookstore, going to a show (when we can do those things again... these are all solid first date plans to get to know someone and let the... see more >>

I think a first date should not be a big event, especially if you're also meeting in person for the first time. However, I think people should leave enough open time in case the first date goes really well. I would start out with the tried-and-true coffee in a public place. If we're still talking by the time the next meal rolls around, great! We go to lunch or to dinner. After that, we go home. Each to his and her own home. Going farther on a first date usually turns out poorly

I think a coffee/tea date is good for the first in person meeting. Just the reality that sometimes we can really click online, but in person just not happening. Sometimes, that just means we were nervous, and we can try again. Sometimes, not. Coffee means no expectations, but hopefully it can turn into talking and laughing all afternoon until we have to switch to decaf!
Then, if it is of that variety, we can walk off that caffeine with a stroll through one of the local museums or maybe a gallery. That way we can expand our topics of conversation with visual aids! Of course, knowing me, I will end up going into "lecture mode" and will explain all about why Picasso was not an abstract artist, or the visual symbols used in medieval religious iconography, lol!
Meet up for coffee or brunch. Maybe a local park weather permitting. I don't need a fancy restaurant or to spend a lot of money. Just a place that we can get to know each other. I will wear a mask of course.
Someplace where we can hear each other talk, cafe or a quieter restaurant. I love all asian food especially! Or a mom and pop diner. We love our festivals here in Florida, Outside or inside but not the beach for a first... see more >>

I would meet with you at a nice cafe and we could just talk and get to know one another. I want to be as open with you as I can and hope the same for you without pushing each other out of our comfort zones.
